different types of gurus

many people, and you are looking at one here , i am honest enough to know this

are gurus from intellectual wisdom
they hear
some good speeches
so they give good speeches
they read
some good books
so they write some good books
they meditate enough to know meditation is real but they don't get the supreme samadhi, but they want so much to preach about meditation so they do it ,
they are useful ,
but , the supreme guru is omniscient and one with god , absolutely , beyond definitions or conceptions, if one is not able to speak to you from god , and you have doubts, then trust the doubts,

because a guru must be sattvic, a guru cannot be someone that tries to assert that they are superior or this and that, or does ego things, now ,
basically its about your own journey and all a teacher does is give you the methods and some encouragement because in the end you take the journey to now yourself.
